Nozzle fun

Here’s a manifold-side view of one of the carbs without the dome. I ran into a bit of trouble - the guide in the bottom of the carb was not allowing the metering nozzle to slide in and out smoothly.

I was advised to use a nylon bottle brush inserted in a drill to clean the inner bore of the guide. I was careful to remove just enough material to allow the nozzle to slide freely. Hope it works!

Fuel flows from the bottom of the carb through the nozzle and is regulated by the needle.
