Finally everthing is in place. I had to extend the heater return hose to reach the new fitting and add a right angle to the breather hose to match up to the new air cleaner. I’ll get the correct hoses at some point.

I used an old hand throttle cable for the starters. It works OK, but tends to slowly slip in even with the knob turned to lock position.

WOW! The carbs transform the car. It sounds very aggressive at idle and pulls nicely! Very hard to go slow!

Surprised how restrictive the stock air cleaner is - I had to crank up the idle to get it run.
