Headlight upgrade

The stock lights on Zippy were dim and yellow, and it’s a bit risky to just pop in modern high-performance lights. The stock wiring is not up to the task.

I found David Irwin, who does wiring harness upgrades for 240Z’s and he agreed to take a stab at the roadster. The new circuit uses the original to fire new relays which direct power directly from the battery.

The new harness made the stock lights at least twice as bright.

No wires were cut and the new harness plugs in with original-style connectors.

Hella twin-tone horns replaced the dead originals.
