Racing roadsters

Two roadsters were competing on that day. I forgot to get the names of the drivers, but the cars looked great!

There were many drool-worthy cars in the pits and in the car club corral. Some of my faves were the Lotus 7s, racing E-types and Alfas.

Lotus had a stand with three Elise’s. I got to sit in one, and they are very hard to get in and out of. I’m still trying to convince myself that an Elise would make a great daily-driver. Not the best grocery-getter, as it has a tiny trunk – just means you would have to make lots of trips to the store, preferably at the end of a nice twisty road.

The green color is really starting to grow on me.
