Fun with wiring

Work on the Rat has been slow this summer - it’s been too nice to spend time in the garage. A top-down drive in the Miata is much better.

I got a dash cover from eBay and glued it to the cleaned-up carcass of the old dash. Then a spot of Landau Black SEM made it look even nicer.

The wiring was re-wrapped with harness tape after replacing a few wires from a spare harness. Gauges were re-installed and everything hooked up.

The reproduction glove box was a real pain to put together. I ended up using nuts and bolts rather than stock-style staples.
