With part of the interior dealt with, it was time to get the car ready for the engine.

The more I looked at the various colors under the hood, the more I thought, “While you’re at it.....” So the engine bay was stripped and prepared for more rust convertor.

You can see the Tex fender mirrors I installed. Yes, they are British, but at least they don’t say Lucas!

I love the look of fender mirrors on sports cars. These involved drilling 1/2" holes in the fenders. Needless to say I measured quite a few times before getting out the drill.
