With the radiator removed you can see a fairly complete motor. Whoever put this engine in the ’68 combined early and later parts. The carbs have attachments for the fuel return line. The alternator is mounted late-style on the carb side with the lower pivot part of the block’s engine mount.

I should have tried to start it up at this point, but didn’t.

Surprisingly few critters
had moved in during
10 years of sitting.
