The second car (SPL311-177226) was also a ’68 1600 and this one featured an engine!

Rust had really taken hold on this car. The hood and trunk hinges were rusted shut. Only the passenger door would open. It was clear that this car would only be good for parts.

Another SnugTop had kept the interior fairly dry, but the interior was a sight to see. I'll refrain from comment until you get a chance to see the picture for yourself!

One of the tires was shredded. I managed to pry open the trunk and locate a spare that would hold air.
